Your day-to-day Brendan Ireland Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Depart the USA.

Board your overnight transatlantic flight (call us for competive air add-on rates to these fares).

Day 2: Arrive in Dublin, Ireland

Welcome to Dublin, Ireland.  You will receive included transfers from the airport.  After an opportunity to freshen up, your tour begins with a visit to St. Patrick's Cathedral.  You'll see the Georgian Squares, and visit Trinity College, walking its cobbled courtyards and stopping in its library to see the 8th Century Book of Kells.  This evenig, you'll join your fellow Best of Ireland Tour travelers for a Welcome dinner with wine.  Overnight at The Burlington.

Day 3: Dublin / Blarney / Killarney

Your day begins with an included breakfast.  Then, we're off for a drive south to the Rock of Cashel, an impressive pre-Christian settlement.  Next, we'll continue on to Blarney, where we'll browse through the Blarney Woolen Mills and visit Blarney Castle with its magical stone that gives the gift of eloquence for a kiss.  Later, you'll head to colorful Killarney and enjoy an included dinner before turning in at the Killarney Towers to rest up for tomorrow.

Day 4: Ring of Kerry

After enjoying an included breakfast, you're off with your guide to travel the road the winds around the beautiful Iveragh Peninsula, also known as the Ring of Kerry.  You'll stop at Torc Waterfall, with a chance to enjoy a leisurely hike.  You will walk by West Meadow Bay and visit Muckross Abbey, which one Travel Advisor writer called a "hidden gem" and a "must see."  You will overnight again at Killarney Towers.

Day 5: Killarney / Cliffs of Moher / Connemara

After an included nourishing breakfast, you'll travel north for a stop to walk along the Cliffs of Moher.  These cliffs rise 700 fee above the rough and tumble surf of the Atlantic Ocean, Afterwards, you'll drop in for afternoon tea at Rathbaun Farm and meet a local farming family.  Next, you're off to tour Galway, with its Galway Cathedral.  You will then check in to your hotel in Connemara -- the Connemara Coast Hotel, before ending the day with an enjoyable included dinner.

Day 6: Killary Fjord Excursion

You'll awake to an included breakfast before journeying to Killary Fjord to board a boat for a cruise through the clm waters of the bay.  Later, you'll stop at lakeside Kylemore Abbey, a castellated neo-Gothic mansion, occupied today by a Benedictine community of nuns.  Relax overnight dinner before turning in for the evening at Connemara Coast Hotel.

Day 7: Connemara / Cong (Ashford Castle)

After breakfast, you will head through Connemara to Cong, where you enter the grounds of majestic Ashford Castle, constructed in the 13th Century.  The vast grounds here include golf, equestrian, falconry, and trails.  Ashford Castle ranks among the very finest culinary experiences in the world, and you'll dine here on an included dinner.  Plesae note that jacket and dress shirt required for men).  You'll overnight here at Ashford Castle

Day 8: Cong / Dublin

After a leisurely included breakfast, you'll have time to further explore Ashford Castle.  You'll then venture thourh the midlands to Dublin, with free time for the rest of the day.  You'll overnight here at The Burlington.

Day 9: Depart Dublin

After your included breakfast, you'll be transfered to the airport with included transfers for your flight back home.
