On this 9-day fully escorted boutique tour of Ireland, you'll marvel at this country spectacular countryside and immerse yourself in its culture, people, and cuisine. During your visit, you will stay in Dublin, Cork, and Killarney. A bonus on this trip will be your overnight stay at the magnificent Dromoland Castle, a prestigous Ireland Treasure. Tastes & Tales of Ireland Tour Day-to-Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart the USA.

Day 2: Arrive in Dublin, Ireland
Upon landing, you'll be greeted by your included transfers to your hotel, the Davenport Hotel. This centrally located hotel sits within an easy walk of many of Dublin's must-see sights, and is among the highest rated of Dublin's hotels. Once you arrive, You will have time to relax and freshen up after your overnight flight. This evening, you'll be invited to an included welcome dinner to meet your fellow travelers.
Day 3: Dublin Sightseeing & at Leisure
Awake rested and ready to begin discovering this magnificent country. After your included breakfast, your guide will join you for a walking tour of Dublin. On this tour, you will see famous Trinity College, the National Gallery of Ireland, Merrion Square Park with its statute of Oscar Wilde, and much more. On this day, you will also enjoy an included lunch in the atmospheric cellars of the Duke of Wellington's birthday. The afternoon will be yours to spend as you please. Overnight at the Davenport Hotel.
Day 4: Dublin / Cork
You'll awake to an included breakfast, before setting off south with your guide to the historic town of Cashel. En route, you'll stop for morning coffee, and have time to explore this quiant town and its iconic landmark, the Rock of Cashel. Afterwards, you'll continue to Cork for an overnight stay at the luxurious Hayfield Manor with leafy grounds and uncommon luxurious touches such as orthopedic beds, marble bathrooms, and free wi-fi. Dinner is included.
Day 5: Cork / Cobh / Killarney
After breakfast, your first stop will be a visit to the English Market. Here, you can nibble on a specialty coffee cake and enjoy a morning coffee before heading to the Heritage Center in Cobh. For many American families, this is the spot where their ancestors set off for a better life in the New World. This spot is also famous for another reason -- it was the Titantic's last port of call before sinking on her maiden voyage. Following your visit here, you will travel to the fun, festive, and friendly town of Killarney for an overnight stay at The Malton hotel, one of Ireland's most beautiful hotels.
Day 6: Killarney
This is your day to choose what you would like to do. After your included breakfast, you may want to set off for a guided horseback rid through Killarney National Park. Alternatively, perhaps you would rather board a traditional jaunting car and ramble with a local jarvey. Afterwards, you'll have the rest of the day to spend at your leisure just soaking up the magnificence of being in Ireland. Tonight, you'll enjoy a "You're Personally Invited" Dinner featuring light-hearted Irish Entertainment at Kate Kearney's Cottage. Overnight at The Malton hotel.
Day 7: Ring of Kerry Excursion
Fill-up on breakfast, and then set up along the road the winds around the beautiful Iveragh Peninsula, commonly known as the Ring of Kerry. Along the way, you wills stop for lunch at the award-winning QC's Seafood Bar and Restaurant in the town of Cahirciveen. The family-owned restaurant stocks the restaurant daily with fresh fish. Overnight at The Malton.
Day 8: Killarney / Dromoland Castle
Following breakfast, you will explore the Crag Cave, described as "Ireland's most exciting showcase." Only discovered in 1983, Crag Cave is a magical underground world of stalagmites and stalactites, and boasts unforgettable sound and lighting effects. After exploring the cave, you will then visit Foynes, the birthplace of Irish Coffee, and the Flying Boat Museum. Next, you will travel to the highlight of the trip, the Dromoland Castle. This famous Dromoland Castle dates to the 16th Century, and was rated a top 10 European Resort by readers of Conde Nast Traveler. Dinner at the spectacular Earl of Thomand Restaurant is included this evening (note: dress shirt required for men).
Day 9: Dromoland Castle / Depart Shannon
You'll enjoy breakfast before departing from Dromoland Castle on you included transfers to Shannon Airport for your flight home. If you prefer, you can also be transferred to the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dublin Airport. You can also elect to extend your vacation with extra nights. Ask us to help you with these arrangements.
