Alice Springs by air prior to 1:00pm. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon, tour the sights of "The Alice," including the historic Telegraph Station, Royal Flying Doctor Service and School of the Air. See unique Australian reptiles at the Alice Springs Reptile Park, before finishing the day with panoramic views from the top of Anzac Hill. Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Depart Alice Springs and journey to Ayers Rock today. Stop at a camel farm on the way where there is time to take a short camel ride if you wish (optional, own expense). Enjoy nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine this evening as you watch the changing colors of Uluru (Ayers Rock) as the sun sets. Overnight: Ayers Rock Resort, Outback Pioneer (standard), Desert Gardens (superior) or Sails in the Desert (first class)
Day 3: Mutitjulu Waterhole
Visit the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole at the base of Uluru and view ancient Aboriginal rock art. Visit the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Center, where you can learn about Aboriginal culture and see Aboriginal arts and crafts, before returning to your hotel. Transfer to Ayers Rock airport for your onward flight (flights to depart after 1:30pm, airfare not included).
